Go APPRECIATE Challenge

If you want to be happy, choose to be grateful!

Between November 1 – November 30, challenge yourself to appreciate the good around you. Check-in every time you practice gratitude.

A few friendly suggestions:

  • Say thank you to a friend, family member, colleague or yourself
  • Write a thank you note
  • Count your blessings
  • Write in a gratitude journal
  • Pray or meditate
  • Help a stranger
  • Any other ideas? Share under comments

Practicing gratitude at least 3 times a week is proven to offer a host of benefits, including: stronger immune system, exercise more and take better care of yourself, more alert, alive and awake, more joy and pleasure, feel less lonely and isolated.

  1. Excited for this challenge! I have so much gratitude in my life which I regularly share with God but not as much with my friends and family. So this is motivating to share more.

  2. This gratitude challenge has very curious timing! My car broke down Monday night which was very unexpected and a 4 hour stressful ordeal to make it home. While waiting for Triple A for the second time that night I felt my body getting tense and decided to try mediation for 5 minutes. Usually I hate meditation and get bored easily! But Monday night after meditating for 5 minutes, my negative thoughts faded and I was able to write down one gratitude. My entire brain chemistry shifted. The feeling was amazing. I have mediated almost every night since Monday and hope to continue gratefulness this month.
